Happy birthday to me! Pictured here (second from the left) I started partying very early on–as every baby should. As I close out this year of my life, I am thinking of the wishes I will make as I blow out the birthday candles on my cake tonight. Here is the short list: 1) make more art and explore new mediums, 2) spend plenty of quality time with loved ones, 3) show my appreciation for Mother Nature, 4) lots of live music, and 5) much less worrying. My birthday wish for you is that you take time to appreciate art and the beauty in everyday life.
Happy birthday!
Thank you, James! :)
Happy Birthday Jane! Adorable pic!
Thanks so much, Beth! :)

Thanks so much, Lauri! :)
OMG! Happy Birthday, Jane!
I always enjoy your posts. That photo of you is adorable—ah yes, a party starter with that baby glow! Clearly, you settled into your role as the life of the party early on, huh? ;-)
And your birthday list... it reads like a love letter to the soul: more art, more time with your people, more awe for the earth, more music in the air, and far less worry. Yes to all of it, especially the last one. We all deserve to set down the weight and pick up something lighter.
Thank you for your uplifting birthday wish in return. Noticing the beauty in everyday life really is a quiet kind of magic. We need more artists, more art, and more beauty in this world...people just like you who keep adding light and color wherever they go.
I hope today surrounds you with that same magic: laughter, music, creativity, and the people who make your heart feel full.
Here’s to a new year of bold creating, deep joy, and the kind of peace that sneaks up on you in the best way.
Warmly,
Vivek
